Posted on: Tuesday. August 07, 2007 By: SALLY MCNARY Just wanted to say Thanks to all your staff. This morning when I dropped Sam off they all were so very nice. This is the first time I have left him with anyone. It is so comforting knowing he is having a great time and is being cared for. Thanks again....(even before I pick him up.) See you Thursday!!!!!
Posted on: Friday. July 13, 2007 Our Lab, Arthur, hasn`t had much experience with other dogs. I`m not sure how he`ll handle "playtime" in your outdoor park? Robert (Boynton Beach)
Response by Barkers Hotel and Pet Resort: Dear Robert – Dogs are naturally social animals. They love being part of a pack and quickly adapt to being part of a large "family." This is especially true when they are in neutral territory where they are not defending their own turf. We`ll be there to make sure Arthur is getting along with our other guests, but don`t worry, he`ll love every minute!
Posted on: Friday. July 13, 2007 Gus (our Doxie) and Shayna (our Shih Tsu) are happy as long as they can snuggle together when they take their naps. I don`t know how they`d handle being separated. Ronnie (Delray Beach)
Response by Barkers Hotel and Pet Resort: Dear Ronnie – No Problem! Our new Barkers Hotel has wonderful, spacious pet suites with oversized bedding that will easily accommodate Gus and Shayna together. And you`ll even save money on our double- occupancy rates.
Posted on: Friday. July 13, 2007 I`ve had a great experience leaving Lucy, our Lhasa, at the Barkers for a day or two, but we just booked a week-long cruise and I`m concerned that she`ll become unhappy if we`re separated for that long a time. What should we do? Linda (Boca Raton)
Response by Barkers Hotel and Pet Resort: Dear Linda – Animals have a very different experience of time than we humans do. They live in the present and as long as they feel comfortable and safe, and are enjoying a good experience, they`re happy. For Lucy, staying with us for two days or two weeks, will be a fun vacation and she`ll greet you the same way when you come back – with lots of tail wagging and wet kisses! Enjoy your cruise.
